Wisdom teeth out i need answers!!!!! PLEASE!?

well the dentist told me i could eat and should star eating normal food by day 3 and i got them out wed. and its sunday and i still cant eat and still pretty swollen! when can i eat! and i cant even bit down it hurts my teeth arent touchin top to bottom my teeth are open but i can close my lips and i guess its so swollen! and i ice it like crazy but inside its really swollen and i have this round bump on the inside of my mouth on my jawline its hard and it feels like a ball and its sore but i cant see it only feel it is it bad? i looked it up on here and i see a lot of people say something about scar tissue!? idk but all im worried about is when can i eat i cant even bit down!!!!! HELP!!!!
