Is Christian morality anti-nature/anti-life?

Fair question, actually. It may be that the fundamental reason for religion is to own the believer and dictate their behavior using a complex set of rules and belief sets that, on closer scrutiny seem to be in opposition to each other (this point made famous by George Carlin's routine on religion).
