Why oh why is he doing this?

ok, so was seeing this guy for ages and it didnt work so we're just friends now - he would come see me all the time, so obviously knows where i live. anyways, he's suddenly started asking for my door number everytime he visits...random question but what the ***, why is he suddenly pretending he dont know my door number??
