Should mother be talking to their kids about their plastic surgeries?

I haven't heard or read the book, but if a mother has had plastic surgery and feels comfortable talking to her child about it, then I don't see what the problem is. I had plastic surgery ( augmentation) before my daughter was born. When the time comes, I will explain to her that I had it done. If it is something that she wants to do when she is older, I will be able to explain to her that it DOES HURT (not mild discomfort like the Dr told me), but if she wants it, then get it done. However, I paid for mine and she will have to pay for hers.
