Have you read Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials trilogy?

This is one of my favorite fantasy trilogies ever written. The movie based on The Golden Comp (first in the series) hits theatres this weekend...... if the petitioners fail to get it banned that is, which I certainly hope they do fail. So, have you read the whole trilogy? And what did you think?
